Are G coupes good college cars?
Nice, I couldn't find how the whitelines held up on the search although I found that they're not bad bushing replacments. How have they held up? Did you need to change them ever again?
Lmfao better than hs ahha, yeah im going to a college not to far either im on long island, im majoring in electrical engineer, crap is hard!, its so much fun getting a college refund mad $ to spend haha, i got 1700$ in the mail yesterday wow
!
!
Really? Did you take ap chem or ap phys in hs? I took them and passed them pretty easy. Going for electrical and mechanical, but that's cool on the 1.7k.
wish I woulda known that a year ago LOL
Good college car? Not sure what makes something a college car...most of my family considers the G coupe kind of a luxury car, I hesitate to take mine to school as it's in such great condition. If I was looking to buy a car for college, something that was older and more of a "used" car, I would look at the 02-03 Maxima's, or an 03 Accord V6 6 speed (somehow that car is faster than most G35's, didn't believe it until I drove one, they look like a soapbar though), other than that Ford Explorers are great for all-around vehicles. I have owned a 1997 for 4 years, cost me $2500 when I bought it, now has 165k miles on it and is fantastic, almost no maintenance costs, other than oil changes, and the occasional change of brake pads.
Sorry, when I think of "college" cars, I think of "practical" cars, cheaper cars. Though there are a lot of really wealthy people that go to my school that think the G is a POS because their parents gave them a 2013 Mustang GT, or something brand new (such a waste
). Depends what demographic you are in I suppose. G seems too nice to be considered a "college" car; unless it's beat up with high mileage.

You mean the same guys who later compain about not being able to pay off their loans and wanting a bailout because they used loan money to pay for vacations, big tv's, decorating their dorm room, etc etc.
Don't get me started
Ah. But you can't. Student loans are rarely discharged through bankruptcy. It's one of the reasons why loans are given so freely at low interests rates because the loan givers have virtually no risk.
It happens, but it's one of the hardest things to get discharged in bankruptcy. You really need to have a legit reason...not just racked up too many credit card bills and don't want to pay any more

Usually extreme hardship such as living at poverty levels, or medical bills is how to get it discharged.
Of course, if this was the political forum, i'd dive into personal responsibility for those who take $100K in loans for a degree in underwater kite making and then find out their skill has no marketability and how the system "duped" them into taking those loans.
