166K miles for $8500 2004 6MT
So these cars (couple manual) are not easy to obtain cause they sell so quick even on CL posts that are only a few days old the cars sell. Yes there are G35 coupes but I will never own a black car again and 90% are automatics. So clean carfax on this one im looking at Vehicle was inspected at a dealer (I called and asked to confirm) and the car did not show any problems or issues that needed to be fixed. Im on a low budget and will be setting aside $1500 for any repairs that need to be done. How do you guys feel about these cars that have 150k plus miles? Or should I sacrifice and pay $10K for a lower mileage one.
Yeah, $1500 ain't gonna get you far on these cars. Maybe a tire and a tank of gas. Some peeps gotta dig that just being able to afford to buy a car doesn't mean you can afford to own it. Especially if you cant do your own work. I would never own this car if i didnt own a screwdriver. Don't buy that car.
I agree with everyone else, I wouldn't buy this car. Unless, I had some kind of warranty or extra time and money. I do all my repairs myself, since warranty expired. 1500 might get you a set of decent tires. In the past year I spent more then that on my 06 coupe with 137k now.
Thanks guys. I do feel that it is high on miles, but these cars are over 10 years old and finding a G with the 6mt is really hard. I dont think spending upwards of $15K for a G with 80K miles is worth it IMO. I can afford more car but I dont want to, and I do know how to fix cars especially after owning a BMW 330i. Shoot if I was going to spend over $15K I would buy my childhood (afforadable) dream car the 2003 Toyota Supra. But I'll keep looking, in fact a one owner G with 131K miles for $10K im looking at now
