Help making decision on my G

Hey guys ,

Just want to say this community is super helpful for the 5 years I have owned my car . So much to read and learn and its been life saver . Now i kept my car fully stock as I didnt really have the money to put into it . It was my first financed car and they killed me with the APR. Anyway long story short is I want to move into a newer infiniti now that my credit is way better and I can save the money for one (Q60 hopefully) . I'm trying to decide weather or not to keep my girl mod it while i save or sell it and use it to hop into something else. Below is a picture gallery of her (not the best pictures but its a start)

http://imgur.com/a/YVKEX#0

88,814 miles

The bumpers need to be re-painted
Need 4 new tires / almost no curb rash on the wheels
Exhaust is tapping the car and makes a small rattle annoying . Mechanic said one of the brackets its a little bent which is why it does that but hasn't fixed it ( I could replace the muffler its slightly rusting .
Brake pads are new but need new rotors.
Interior is pretty flawless except for back seat small scrape in the leather which is visible in the photo, and someone ripped out my lower glove box.
the glove box is in the trunk and is also visibly flawless except missing clips and lock to keep it up .
Installed the 2014 pioneer AVH 4000NEX with dvd switch to play while driving (not that I do )

Just want to hear some feedback if its worth it to do some mods and swap some parts keep it or sell it as is .

If you know for sure you'll be wanting that upgrade. Just leave it stock (Minus the radio) and save up. There's no point going into mods because once you drive that VQ37VHR in the Q60, it'll still blow away the G35 with mods (unless if it's F.I.). And modding isn't too fun on your wallet either.

your right I guess I'll start getting the paper work ready and some more pictures for it and get ready to post it for sale . Anyone have any insight on the price range for it the way it is?

Mods? Naa, you don't need to do that. It would be a very good idea to take care of what you have by fixing all the issues you listed!

Probably.. Otherwise the buyer will keep slashing your posted price for each thing he finds.

Put the glove box back in, throw some new, cheapish tires on and peddle it.
That is, if you're done with it and want to move on.

Pretty easy list of things to fix.

If the car's running good, just do the repairs and keep on driving.

I'm at 150K miles on mine and still going.

Sure, fix everything that's wrong with your G then you'll have the option of again enjoying what you drive or sell it and not get low balled. You can't lose...Gary

my biggest fear with the glove box is the dealership telling me I have to pay for an entire new glove box because its just missing the two pieces to keep it locked in at the bottom and replace the lock part at the top . I checked a few sites and could not pin point what those are called though .

try junk yard , ebay or car-part.com to find something used. Even classified section in this forum might be worth a look.
