Considering 2007 G35S 124K
Hi all, I'm considering my first Inifiniti. It's a 2007 G35S Sedan, 124K miles. It is a single owner car and has all of the maintenance records, I went through each and every one, and all services were performed at an Inifiniti dealer in the proper time frame. I have driven the vehicle and it feels brand new. The steering is tight, acceleration is astounding, engine fluids and undercarriage are clean. The only issues that I noticed are scratches on the steering wheel bezel and on the door controls. I can get it for $11K USD drive out. I will be driving it 250-350 miles per week and want a nice car that I can easily put another 100K miles on.
I had been looking a a Ford Focus as a commuter car, until I noticed the G35S next to a 2013 Focus. the Focus is sterile by comparison..
Is this a good deal or should I pass?
Thanks in advance.

Considering you are starting at 125K miles, taking any car to over 200K miles isn't something done "easily" no matter what car you buy. It really depends on how well the previous owner maintained the car and what has been changed.
Just keep in mind between 100-200K is when things like bushings, bearings, shocks. struts, etc start to show their age, so you may find yourself replacing these items that are typical on high mileage vehicles.
Also, G35's aren't really the best in terms of fuel economy.
Not trying to talk you out of it, but it sounds like you are looking for a commuter car to last you a while. While the G35 is nice, i'd see if I can find one with lesser miles. If you don't mind the interior/exterior of the previous model, you can probably find a 2006 model for $7-8K with less miles.
