2006 G35 Coupe - Automatic - 83K Miles - $12995

I have always loved G35s and have been looking at a few used ones in my area. I test drove this one and really loved it (other than the driver's side window not shutting properly, and I have heard of many issues with the window motors in these cars):

My question is, would you buy this G35? It looks to be in excellent condition and the price seems right - almost too right. It is actually below KBB. Though, I suspect this is because there have been 4 reported owners. If you look at the autocheck (or carfax), service records are somewhat complete up to 32-ish thousand miles, but after that there is nothing. Should this be a major concern? Can I get service records from an Infiniti dealer like I have heard is possible? My other concern is that there are some scary reviews about this particular dealer. Just wanting to know thoughts/opinions and whether this looks like a good buy or not.

Looks good, I'd get it. Would still offer them 12.5 out the door for it.

Wish I had those projectors, and the Sport package. Would like lower miles, but for a 2006, that is low.

you will only see service records if the service was performed at the dealer. It doesn't mean that service wasn't performed by an independent mechanic. It would be nice if they can produce the receipts for repairs after the 32K mile mark. I know I have saved every single receipt and invoice for this exact reason.

Unfortunately, since its a dealer, I don't think I will be able to get any sort of service records from them. I'm just a little worried about that gap between 32k and 83k where there weren't any records at all.

It just means the car wasn't serviced at a dealer.

If you carfaxed my car...you wouldn't find any records at all since I DIY all my own maintenance even when the car was brand new. You just need to due your own research and inspect the car and see if certain things are done. Is the belt cracked, or does it look new? Brake rotors all rusty? or do they look new? Some of this stuff you can check within 10 mins, other stuff....well you just set a weekend aside, buy some fluids and just get it all done.

Car looks pretty clean. Not a fan of the aftermarket radio personally as I don't like the look of the Metra kit.
