My friend is considering to buy a '05 G35 MT. The dealer has 1 car that matches what he wants (premium package, spoiler, side modling and splash guard). X-M radio is an option that is on the car that he doesn't want, but can't get rid of it. Beside the X-M radio, this is the same options that are on my car. I paid $35K flat for my car in April with all that options. Now the dealer is asking for $35,650 for his car. The only difference is X-M radio, which he doesn't want but can't get rid off. The dealer also said that Infiniti has increase the MSRP price by 0.5% on all cars. I have done some reading, and the price increase only applies to M45. Please tell me if this is a good deal or not? Can my friend find a better deal somewhere else? How much are you guys paying for your G with similar options?

That's a BS price with 06's coming out, he should try to work them down more, and if they won't bite, he better be ready to walk out without the car. I'd shoot for $34k personally.

just picked up mine. 05 6MT coupe 37,569 OTD. premium package, aero package, trunk mat, and splash gaurds. ps do not get the trunk mat, a standard one is included that looks better imo

I just bought a Black/Graphite 6MT last Saturday. Premium package, Navigation, Sirius, wing, splash guards etc....every option but the full out Aero kit.........I paid $36.5, sticker was $39,590

for canada it will be here in dec and i talked to my sales already, he showed me the price on 06, which is only 150cdn higher compare to 05. consider including blutooth memory seats and bi-xenon which isnt bad deal for 150cdn extra !
btw the intelligent key is only for auto 6mt will not have it

First off, your choice in words is lame(it doesnt offend me but it may others) and second he didnt necessarily get a bad deal just because the few deals youve heard about recently were better. NOT all areas are willing to deal and sometimes you take what you can get.

Last week I picked up an 05 Black on Black 6MT, Premium, trunk mat, splash guards, spoiler. The Cap cost on the lease was 34,300. I thought that was pretty good.

I was quoted 36K for '05 fully loaded 6mt with Navi, which cost the dealer $1,700 back in April. Plus tax of course here in NJ. Other dealer didn't want to go lower than $38, but then again, I had to have 6MT and navi, and there were not much of those. All external options and mats you can get for about half the price elsewhere after the purchase.
And since they stopped making pearl with graphite leather I got an '04 and saved a bunch of money.

There still is no pricing on 06 G's(sedan or coupe), The 150 increase to go 2006 does seem possible on the sedan, but not realistic on the coupe. Last year when they freshend up the sedan we saw a price increase of $1100+ to get intell. key, and now with memory, projector lamps, and bluetooth on the coupe, $150 barely takes care of the average 1% annual price increase.
Infiniti usually releases pricing a few weeks before the cars hit, so my guess is 1st week of October.
