Black looks damnnnnn sexy when its clean, but is easily noticed when its a tad bit dirty. I really like Liquid Platinum. Anyone Have pics of their 06 w/ LP exterior??? Also w/ a lil tint tint. I'm am going to be purchasing an 06 G35C in a few months. A buddy of mine just bought his (05, Black) He cleaned it, one day after you could notice very minor dirt spotches.

I wash my BO once a week or every two weeks. As long as it doesn't rain much where you are, Black is fine-- and damn sexy indeed.

 

Black is indeed fine and damn sexy. It's just such a pain to maintain it. At least, that's how I remember a black car.

Normally I would say go for the metallic paint over the clearcoat black. Having owned a black car, I dont think I want another one unless its metallic. BUT LP is such a wack color that in this case I would recommend black over LP. LP is a very dull version of the BS. But then again you seem to like LP so go with that. Like everyone says, Black looks best...when clean, but its a bitch to keep it that way.

I actually think its the other way around. I always thought BS was a dull and raw silver. The LP is better IMO. It resembles BMW's titanium silver. Its more of a lighter silver color.

 

LP is new to the 06, so if u wanna show u are riding an 06 do that... but black... i love the black on my car

 

Interesting... I can't wait. I already test drove the Coupe twice. The dearlship guy is getting annoyed but who cares. He knows hes gonna do business with me. Atleast "HE" thinks so. The LP is nice, probably bad *** w/ 15% tint tint. The day I go to the dealership to buy (About 5-6 Months) i'll have them put a BO and LP side by side and i'll analyze for about an hour and make my decision. Oh and I did speak with the dearlership, they can put an 05' spoiler on a non aero kit equipped 06.

 

nothing matches black. when its clean of course.... but if you wash it every 10 days.. then there is no problem at all.
im sorry but the lighter colors are so typical with any car. sometimes i dont even notice a silver or DG coupe in traffic.. cuz everyone has the same color. some people think just cuz they have a lighter color car they dont have to wash it cuz nothing shows. well it does show, there is a huge difference between a nicely washed and polished silver coupe than a regular one that hasnt been washed in months.. and when they dont wash the car, they dont wash the wheels and tires which makes it look even worse.


regardless of what color car you get you should be washing it at the most, every 2 weeks, if you want to maintain a nice new look..
so just go with black

 

Any color but black. They are nice the day u wash them, but then they get dusty, dirty, etc. They also show every swirl mark and imperfection , like a black mirror. Way too much work.

My DG is much easier to care for. My last car (black) had to be washed at least once per week, usually twice. I never wash my DG more than once per week, and often not for two weeks. It still looks good.

I won't have another black car.
