Just curious as to why the canadian price is so much higher than the american price? Even if you factor in the exchange rate etc... The american price is much cheaper. I was just quotted this today.

'06 6-MT Ivory Pearl / Stone
MSRP = $50,485.00
Total = $59,862.10 which includes Freight, PDE, Tax, Etc...

I was looking at leasing... Here is what the numbers came to?

Term: Rate: Total: Residual Value:
48 5.50 $867.78 $22,718.25

Thats with $2000 down to cover first month plus all the other admin charges etc... I'm going to wait for some additional input before I make the purchase.

What sort of deals are you fellow canadians getting out there? All the numbers I've seen so far are all american figures, it would be nice to know what people are paying north of the border.
