New Car... G35 or 350z or ???

Ok so i'm in the market for a new car ... I just had a 05 rsx-s and it got totaled, long story it was another cars fault... so i'm getting about 18k and my parents are helping me on the rest, so now its decision time... the color is either black or that dark desert silver color... the car will be either 350z, or g35c.. i'm really just wanting a nice looking car with good performance and aftermarket parts, and both of those cars are dead sexy, but is there any other choices u'd recommend?

Cliff notes:
buying new car; classic argument ( 350z or g35c )
I want looks/performance
black or dark diamond silver

Whelp, I've owned both and I have the G35C now, I'll give you my take:

G35C Pros:
Great Looking
Much nicer interior
More luxurious
Back Seat
Trunk

350Z Pros (at least to me):
More sports car like
Firmer Ride
Louder

My personal preference is the G35C because it's what's great about the 350Z, albeit toned down a little which to me is a negative, while being SOOOO much nicer inside and more liveable. You can transport more than 2 people and a loaf of bread in the back which is also a plus. I think the G looks a little better, but that's subjective.

You're not going to get very far in increasing the performance w/o going FI.

I have had both. 04 Z and now an 04G coupe. Can't loose with either. I like the G better most days, but I miss the Z when ever that commercial plays on TV. The only real difference for me, is that I have a real trunk, and I can have my baseball bag and golf bag in there and not worr about it looking like a mess.

Good luck

Do you want a 2 seater or a 4 seater? Go out and drive both cars, if you haven't already done so. Have fun in deciding and test driving your new car. Either choice will be a find car. Enjoy!

I've tested both cars and coming from a rsx, the g35 is a boat, im worried it'll just be too big for me and i won't like it? the 350z seemed a little nicer, and the trunk seemed bigger than the g35? the g's trunk seemed lame but either way im going to put a sound system in too so..... and about the mods? i haven't really searched yet but what are people gaining going N/A, and does nissan/infiniti covery ur warranty if u install F/I?

The warranty issue lies in the lap of the dealer. And if the g35 is a boat, the 350z is a boat minus a few measly hundred pounds, why not stay in the honda family and get an s2k?
