Experience with a couple of dealerships

Hi everyone
I am going to buy an 06 G35 Coupe by the end of the month and have a quick question. What are your experiences like working with Sewell or Grubbs in the DFW area? I have been emailing Allison from Sewell and Ralph from Grubbs, once I priced one from edmunds.com, and am wondering what your experiences are like working with these dealerships. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks

Grubbs was a neat experience. I didn't buy from them, but Ralph was very tough to say "no" to. He offered to fly me to Dallas one-way, pick me up in the car, and let me do a test drive on the way back to the dealership, and even throw in free tints. All of this was with a "hard" VPP price that all dealerships are required to honor for the base price of the car. Unfortunately, I'd committed to purchasing from a dealer in Memphis by that time.

I'd buy from him, if I were you.

Thanks for your response. What is your experience with Austin Infiniti? I am also awaiting a response from them, but haven't heard from them in a little bit. Thought you may know since you are in Austin, TX.

Howdy again,

To be honest, the service guys there are making an effort to fix my squeaks and rattles (I'm picky -- I came to realize that after someone pointed out that it usually takes me at least one return before I find a product I like). However, they haven't fixed them. I have no experience with the sales side of their operation, but I'm so-so on the service side.

I hate to say it, because the service manager and the technician that works on my car are both great people, but I'm still not happy. :-/ I've kinda given up on them fixing it, though I may make one last ditch effort in a month or so when it warms up.
