so guys, went to the dealership to go test drive the 06 coupe and GEEZ, what a nice car. i was ready to buy the car right there but i didn't want to cuz i needed to get my funds in order. of course i tried to play the sales game and I hinted that I wouldn't be buying the car today ALTHOUGH, if you gave me a right price, I would do business with you. The salesman showed me his inventory on the computer and he even showed me all his invoice prices. Fully loaded 06 Black obsidian 6MT he started out 700 over invoice. I was actually in shock because this is Silicon Valley bay area and to give that price right out, i was COMPLETELY shocked. just wanted to let you guys know that my first quote without any negotiating was 700 over.

This is good news SuperShick. I've just recieved an email from Infinity of Cerritos here in SoCal that they are ready to deal. They are behind on their monthly quota's of sales, so they say. LOL
I'm sure with a little more time the deals may get better.
I have actually seen T.V. advertisments for Infinity from 2 different dealerships here in SoCal. Perhaps their sales really are slow.

I went to Infiniti of Fairfield and walked out with a G35 Coupe 6MT for $375 over invoice. Good care and pleasant to deal with. They apparently are trying to make a name for themselves and got my attention. Definitely worth visiting for a deal.

I mentioned this site to the sales person and he told me he'd entertain deals as good as mine. Try them for a good deal.

i wanted to go in today to negotiate a deal as good as Greg's G. I've been reading on the websites and they say that the BEST time to buy a car is at the end of a month on the last weekend because that's when sales managers push to meet quota and they're desperate to sell cars so they'll be very lenient. Do you guys think I should follow this notion or should I just go in today and negotiate? After all, saturday is only 3 days away. I've waited this long to get a G, I could wait 3 more days
