Question Out the door price. too high, can do a little better, take it?!

Hi guys. I'm coming from a 2001 Honda Accord EX V6 comptech supercharged with 55 shot of nitrous. All in all, this car performs flawlessly but doesn't really suits me. I've done a lot of research and found the G35 the best bang for everything in terms of luxury, performance, and reliability. I called to most dealership in Southern California which were all nice by the way. After much haggles and negotiation via email and phone, I managed an out the door price of 40g.

The car:

2006 Infiniti G35 coupe (Auto tranny)
-Premium Package with Intelligent Key
-Sport Tuned Suspension Package
-Navigation Package

Upon your experience of purchasing this car or any of the users that's affiliated with the Infiniti Corp., do you guys think I should:

1. Jump on it!
2. You can do a little better but it's still a decent "out the door" tag
3. Way too high, keep on negotiating!

Hope you guys can help me. I too "want to be one" with the G35 Driver crowd!

just bought my 06 at the end of last year. 6mt/nav/aero/premium/liquid silver...int.key not available on manuals. out the door in annapolis md. (including taxes and tags) for 37,400 and change. found that there is huge range of prices between dealers. always play one against the other to your benefit.

That's crazy cheap speedracerg35. I use your same technique and out the door including reg. and tags is 40g, the price of the car including navi, sport tuned suspension and intelligent key premium package is slightly above invoice. Can anyone compare car prices between east and west coast? Anyone in the West Coast could get this similar car a little cheaper and where? Thanks again you guys. Great help!

I got my 2003 coupe fully loaded no navi with 36k miles on it for $23,000 Hows that for cheap lol. I love it man! ++++111111 with buying a 6mt over an a/t man. TRUST ME! i came from a 2002 Honda Accord Coupe slightly modded and have ZERO regrets except the honda coupe had ALOT more room inside lol.

That's a good bargain ... trade-in with factory used car or private party kenny03g35? I bought 1 used cars ... correct, my folks bought 1 used car and the Accord was a hand me down from my pop at 27000mi. I'm planning on getting the 06 new because it's hard to find my specific packages with a privately owned car. Anymore info you guys?!

What is the sale's tax rate over there?...the invoice on your car i 36.2k, so you only paid 1.2k for tax and tag?

thinhvo, I'd say its a "good" price, cus its right around invoice price. are you going to finance it? if so, be sure to watch out for the interest rate.

I got the car itself for $23,000 with ZERO down. after taxes and everything the total was about $25,800 but i owed more than my honda was worth so the $2200 i was below on my honda we just added it to the finance payment so the final total was close to $28,000 lol. But all in all i think i got a great deal man. Do what i did... DO NOT RUSH INTO IT... take your time and do your research with all the surrounding infiniti dealers and show eachother the other dealers deals that they made with you. Competition is a big thing in the car business pal... use it wisely against them
