Hi everybody, I'm new to the forum and I'm looking to buy a used G35 coupe 5AT. I'm in the research process and was hoping to get some answers from you guys.

1. I'm considering a 03-04 G35 coupe, I was wondering what are the differences between these years? Interior? Features?

2. Is leather and moonroof standard?

3. What packages/options should I look for, that I should definitely get...? I want to at least have leather, moonroof, dual zone climate control, auto dim mirrors, power seats, memory seats would be good too. Are these part of a package?

4. What is the avg price for such a car with ~30k miles on it? and what would be a good price?

5. Any common problems with the car from these years that I should be aware of?

The biggest difference between 03 and 04 is the center console. Although I think the change was made in the middle of 03 model year. They added a leather armrest and covered cup holder. I would make sure you get one with the armrest... they look a lot nicer

Sounds like you should get one with the Premium Package. That has most of the options you listed.

Leather and sunroof are not standard for 03/04 model years. But, they are included in the premium package.

1. The only difference between 03-04 5AT is a tire pressure sensor and on some 2003's there is no satillite radio wiring.

2. Leather is standard on all coupes. Moonroof is not.

3. Premium package...

4. 25k to 29k depending on area/dealer.

5. Your problems will be under warrenty at 30k you can read the forum for misc items...

Another question, I've seen so many different kinds of wheels on the coupe, from something like 7 spokes, to 8 spokes, to 5 split spoke... etc and they come in 17", 18", 19"...

any ideas what year comes with which, and is this part of a sports package or something?

 

19s are only on 05/06. Brembos only on 03/04. 17s - standard. 18s - performance wheels package or something.

 

17s are 6 spoke, 18s are 7 spoke, and 19s are the split 5 spoke

 

As I am looking into the exaxt same car and doing all this research I think I just came to the conclusion that the Brembo package is only offered on the 6 speeds with that performance package...so the Autos won't have any brembos...but I am not 100% sure on that.
