$26,988 for a '04 coupe, good deal?

So that's the price they gave me, '04 5AT with premium package (judging by the moonroof, power (only) driver's side seat, and Bose... the salesman told me it has winter package since it has heated seats, which I assume is incorrect... (?)

The car has ~25k on it, and is a off-lease car, in pretty good shape except the rubber strip along the lower part of the door was kinda beaten up... I also noticed the engine to be a bit noisy under acceleration, is this normal? This is the second time I've been in a G35c, so I'm not sure if that's normal.

This particular dealership pretty much just sell at the advertised price, which the saleman claimed that that's the cost of their car, and they only make money from the trade-ins, finance, and mainly to attract customers to come in and get into their new cars... He even went and show me their purchase price in their system, and all that stuff (heck he even showed me his comission chart). Is this for real? or just some new trick they're playing on me?

The heated seats come standard for G35 , if it have home-link buttons on the rear view mirros then it have premium pkg....

Short answer is, YES its BS but the price dont look too bad tho, it would be good starting point, the KBB says its around 25.9K for trade in value, since they said they make money from trade-in's/finance, I would watch your interest rate.

I am looking at the same thing. The spoiler means the Aero package. The sales guy is pulling your leg...They hate new car sales and love used ones. No one really knows what the poor bastard who traded in that car got for it and everyone with a computer knows the invoice price for a new car so they make a lot more on used cars.

To the point though...the price is very good, but like the other guy said watch the APR which should be in the mid to high 5s if your credit is good b/c the payment should be in the $400-475 range.
