Question for '03 6MT owners

Im looking into buying a 2003 g35 coupe 6mt. I went to a local dealership yesterday to test drive one and I wasnt that impressed with the transmission. It was difficult to find the gears. It seemed that the car just didnt want to go into 1st or 2nd sometimes. Is this normal? Maybe the one I drove was just a bad seed. Thanks for any input.

Synchro problems have been reported on this forum with 2003 and 2004 6MTs (try a search). I personally had no problem with mine. If the car is under warranty, it shouldn't be a problem to have it fixed at no cost - if you decide to procure the car.
