Missed 1st Payment!!!

Hi, need some advice on what I should do about missing the first car payment...it's may 9th and it was due on the 7th. Ultimately I'll call the finance company's toll free number, but in the mean time some advice will help. I traded in my car in the begining of April and I was financing through IFS...I was expecting the new car's bill to be from them, so I over looked a letter from Citizens Automobile Finance from Rhoad Island which turns out to be my current finance company. Well let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

Have you send it the payment yet? if you did already? then dont worry about it, but I would still call them just tell them the payment is indeed on its way, they usually wont report it unless its more than 15 days late.

Thanks guys for the responses...well after hiding the car at a secret supermarket parking lot location (j/k) I gave them a ring and explained my story. Turns out Citizens Automobile Finance had a grace period of ten days along with an option to pay by check over the phone. So things turned out well. Just wanted to add closure on this thread, thanks all!
