Day, place, time?

 

Just a recon. run this coming week, guys....For me Friday is best. That won't do for most of you with jobs.

Hopefully a full run will be feasible shortly...

yea, i remember all my friends complaining that my Z without mudguards constantly barrage their cars with pebbles :P

I'm up for a meet on the 25th! Anywhere that isn't a more than 1hour drive away preferrably

 

well... IMO the mudguards for the 03/04 sedan are a bit awkard looking .. + I would have to re-paint them... since I have all my lower part paint matched with my body color

 

heh heh, yup, never was a fan of the 350z mud guards either, that's why i still don't have mudguards and i just let my friends go in front of me hahaha :P

Enough to make a grown man cry, enough to make me puke, enough to make cringe when I see the hood, fenders, doors, quarters, roof, trunk lid... Never been on a dirt road in my life! I never tailgate and always stay clear of trucks....

Oh wait... I remember what the NISSAN REGIONAL PAINT REP said about my car.... Hmmm.... how did the conversation go?

"Yes Chris, it does look like an awful lot of chips on your car. May I ask, where do you do most of your driving?"

"Sure, I drive the 407, 401 & Hwy 7, why do you ask?" I said,

In an very arogant tone: "Well that's why your car looks like this, what do you expect?"

So I responsded... "So what your saying is, that anyone who buys an Infiiniti for $50k+ Isn't allowed / shouldn't drive them cause the paint will fall off? What kind of dumb *** statement is that? Do you really want me to tell everyone this when asked how I like my car?

Are you going to repaint my car or what? It's got 10,000k and look at the paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"No, LOL, I can't authorize this... I would lose my job, cause everyone else would demand a repaint"

I'm not sure if the G will be mobile or not; so I"m still tentative.

P.S. When and where is this meet going to be?

 

I have to say that this is a really frustrating thread.

June is going to be over by the time a date and location has been confirmed. Getting this general concensus is BS. Just post a time and place - who can show up can do so and who can't will show up next time. Why over complicate things.

Better start looking into July.

 

I couldn't agree more. Most of the G community in the GTA is dead and boring IMO. I'm not sure what happened, 'cause a year ago things were totally different. Sorry but that's how I feel. I've been to other car club meets like Lexus and Audi and these guys are very passionate about their cars, good people to hang around with and lots of good info on mods.

Even the Canadian forum has become almost a "chat room" and lame to some extent full of rubbish threads and no car talk at all. I have to say there is only a handfull of people here that would probably meet on the regular basis.

 

Well, i started this thread, and i think i should finish it.

Some ppl suggest a parking lot meet, other suggest a cruising event, do we need to do a a poll.

Also, i notice that there are only about 17 ppl interested in it, where are the rest of the ppl from the GTA member list!!! In that case, we wouldnt need that big of a parking lot!!!
