I need Help...Anyone know the nightlife in Red Deer, Alberta?
Hey guys,
I am planning a golf trip for a pre stag party in early september and I need to find some good places to hang out for a night in Red Deer, Alberta.
There will be about 20 or so of us, and I would like to hit a hot spot or two there. Somewhere that has a good crowd (some hotties) some good music and drinks flowing.
Does anyone have any suggestions of places to hit there?
I also heard sylvan lake has a pretty good night life. (Sat night) would it be worth it to stay there?? Any good places there??
Thanks again guys...any ideas will be much appreciated.

I think it might be worth your while to either drive North to Edmonton, or drive South to Calgary. Its really not far of a drive.
Red Deer, and hopefully a local can correct me, at least when I'm there, is very boring. The last few times I was in Red Deer, i felt it was best to grab two bottles of wine, and watch pay per view movies in the hotel.
Even my associates that live there, if I take them out, we drive out.
Any locals that can prove me wrong? I'm heading there again in October.
Sorry I could help you anymore.

I think your best bet is Earl's or Moxies for a decent lounge with some eye-candy... start there and ask the bartenders for some info and you'll get the inside scoop.
I've been through Red Deer many times, but never really partied there, but what I said about Earl's or Moxies as a start and then progressing from there has worked for me in many other smaller cities in Western Canada.

I think that will probably be a tentative plan without knowing anything.
If I can find out information before hand, that would be even better.
I have a short list of bars that a few other guys have mentioned to me, does anyone have any knowledge of these places:
1. Bellinis
2. Billy Bobs
3.The Club
4. Catwalk
5. Whisky
Now I am not positive of the names, or if they actually exist since this is second hand info, but please share some info if you got it about these places or any others..
Thanks Guys
