Like I said, the sport model is the reason that I am REALLY excited. Here are some of the things that come with the sport model.

sport front fascia and side sills
rear spoiler
VLSRD
sport tuned suspension
sport tuned VDC
paddle shifters
14 way power seats including manual adjustable thigh support, power adjustable torso bolsters, and power adjustable thigh bolsters.
aluminum pedals

14 way seat with adj. bosters..... OMG are they finally going to have GOOD seats

Did you ever see the difference in the rear deck with the spoiler Shane?
Still can't visualize how it will change with the chrome strip on the lip

Sounds like a great choice Shane. I am surprised you went with the auto, I was always under the impression you wanted to go back to the M/T.

Should be a sweet ride

Nope, I haven't seen any pictures with the spoiler nor the sport model wheels. I can only assume that there will be no chrome lip at all....but who knows.

Could it be possible that the chrome strip may in fact BE the spoiler????
& base model stays body coloured

good point...and i hope that is the case. I think the new trunk / spoiler looks much better than mine. I've been looking for an alternative to my wing spoiler but no luck so far. I like the coupe style...no gap.

Jeez, I sure hope not Ian. I would be quite disappointed if the chrome lip was considered the rear spoiler on the sport model.

Shane, it's great you're pleased with the decision on the Sport and the colour. It sounds like a great package. The one thing I was surprised at was what Wayne had posted also- I thought you were going for for the manual trans.

Trust me, this was another hard decision that I had to make. With it unclear as to what my wife will do with the QX4, I decided to go with the 5AT.....just in case. I guess it was our little compromise.

As much as I would LOVE having the 6MT, keeping the wifey happy is more important.

At least I got paddle shifters out of it!

I forgot to mention that one of the deciding factors for getting the Navi package was that it also comes with internal 9.5GB hard drive for music and also the compact flash slot for MP3s.

The Navi package also comes with voice recognition for HVAC, Audio, and Navi features so that is pretty cool as well.

Sorry Shane.... hope I didn't add to your waiting anguish.

The only reason that I wondered about it, was because of the coupe concept....

I also agree with Ian that the chrome lip was their version of the new spoiler, and aren't those double spoke wheels shown in most of the pics the 18" sport model wheels.

Maybe this is the case with the chrome lip. I guess I will just have to wait and see. It doesn't look too bad, but I would prefer a full rear spoiler like I have now.

I'm with ya on that Shane.

I like the extras in the nav package you mentioned. Keeping your wife happy is great if you can do it. I'm still married and got the MT my wife can't drive.

I hope Mike and his boss Allan treated you well.
