Hey it looks like I may be able to get the day off after all. I had to pull a few strings as my workload right now is tremendous, but I think it's doable.

This sounds like a really fun time and I don't want to miss it.

The car is looking pretty sad these days (my interpretation of sad, that is). I have been neglecting her and haven't focused much of my time on getting things fixed that need fixing, so excuse her imperfections when you see her. I will try and clean her up as much as I can before Tuesday.
