Wheel-direct offered me a winter rims/tires package that they plan to throw into the coupe. I don't know if they fit the brembo though.

They comes in 17x7, 8, 9", with 20/38/48 offset, don't know if it fits brembo. I'll check with them. They are asking for around $2000, with winter tire. Tax, installation included. I haven't really get into the price with them yet, but they say that's the approxmately prices (they are not too sure either since it's coming in maybe next week) should be able to talk it down furthur more if paying cash... I will check with them next week.

 

for people with brembos, most places I've checked are offerring CSA Gladiator or FRD 30 (both look identical, made by same company) together with tires like Pirelli W210 Snowsport or Bridgestone Blizzaks LM-22 for $1900 including tax + install.

so hopefully, either you can find us something cheaper and/or better looking =)

 

well i got a great price from big_h ... it was 1880 for the frd 30's with lm 22's ... includes shipping. considering install shouldn't be more than 50 bucks i'd prefer to give my business to a fellow g owner on the board ... that is unless we can find a way better deal elsewhere!

if we get around 10 people to buy from him i'm sure he could do better (i also remember he was offerring to throw in some other incentives too)

I'm interested too. I've spoken with Big_H and a few dealers around here. Also the 168 wheel from American Eagle will fit as well.... $1850 +taxes... with Mich Pilots. I'd like to find something a little different from the CSA's if possible, but we are very limited. We need a 21 offset.

 

Let us know if those fit a 6mt with brembo's. They are nice... we need a 21 offset.

 

How do the Hankook tires compare with Pirelli or Bridgestones?
in terms of 1) snow/ice traction 2) dry road performance

if they have equal snow traction, but maybe noisier or mushier on highway, then they might be worth while...

 

I just want tires ... I dont care to get rims, and dont see why you guys are either. The stock 18s are painted and will not corrode or get damaged from salt etc.

I have the brembo's, and would like the best set of snows I can get, preferrably 245 and 225 ... stock sizes.
