i have toyo proxes T1-R's (20") on mine and love them.

you can call paul at revolution wheel and tire - 1.866.856.4500 - just off molson park drive in barrie - mention mike with the g35 that he did (my car is in his gallery, and on the TSW site), and he'll set you up.

great guy, quality operation.

good luck,

mike

Another place quoted me $498.00

michelin piolot sport PA2 was quoted $598.00 installed.

I'd stick with the Michelin PS. I recently bought the Bridgestone Pole Positions REO50A's from Tire Rack after reading all the hype on the internet about them and I regret that purchase sorely every time I want to drive a little aggressive.

The car lost considerable amounts of that 'sharp and precise' feeling to it. I can't measure for sure, but I really believe the ultimate grip of the tire has improved over the stock michelin, but I have a hard time predicting when it does break loose, which means I drive much more conservatively (which actually, in reality probably a good thing) with the Bridgestones. IMO, the coupe lost some of that fun factor or the 'dude, i love driving this car hard feeling'. When the Bridgestones first came on, I was dissappointed, but thought to myself that 'its just the break-in period' for the tires. A couple months later, and 10k gone by, the tires still dissappoint.

My buddy, who bought the same tires the same week for his coupe, complains about them too.

My wife notices little difference in the car though, and she thinks I'm being stupidly picky. But I definitely don't like the Bridgestone RE050A pole positions.

I'm suprised though... no one mentioned hankgook tires they are not good?

kinda embarrassing but ... what does 245/40/19R mean again? kinda forgot i think the 19R means ... tires for 19inch ? lol Does the first two have to do with the like width & length?

and tire depth 4/32.... what does these 2 number referring too?

haha damn what a newbie i am .... embarassing

How do i really read a tire stats and say its a good tire?

245 = Width of the tire in mm's

40 = 40% of 245( its the aspect ratio of the tire meaning that the sidewall is 40% of the tires width)

19 = The tire will fit a 19" rim

R = the tire is a radial tire

Its ok to be a newb. That what we are here for, to help each other out.

Good luck with your choice,

Bill

You can check out http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?tcchis=31

for more info.
