Good places to visit or eat in Vancouver
Hi, I live in Seattle,WA.
I have a girlfriend who is living at Vancouver, BC.
We always go good places(place to date, walk, sight seeing, eat)
Here is some places I been
1. Robson St(This is where we usually go)
2. Metrotown mall
3. Stanley Park
4. Burnaby Mt.
Restuarant:
1. Earl's
2. Tomato(my favorite breakfast place)
3. Zin(2nd favorite breakfast)
4. The cellar (we love jazz)
5. Capone
6. LK Lounge
7. bunch of Korean eating places on robson st.
Is there any good places that I am missing?
I am kind of out of ideas.
We like all types of food.
We were going to try Akbar's @ broadway(india food) Is it any good?
Also I am looking for good spagetti place. Any recommendation?
Any thing else to do in Vancouver?
(other than ice-hockey, musical.. I am already planning this out for Sept)
^^
Anything to make my gf smile would be nice.
Thank you in advance.

Akbar's is totally killer.
For steak: Gotham Steakhouse
For Japanese Izakaya: Shiru Bay Chopstick Cafe or Happa
For regular Japanese: I like Tsunami (but others don't)
Continental: Monk Mcqueen's
Asian Casual: Phenom Penh in Chinatown (spelling?)
If you guys are atheletic, I'd spend an afternoon doing the "Grouse Grind". Its basically a 2-3 hour uphill hike up on a mountain.
An overnight to the island is a great idea as well if you like nature. Ziptrekking in Whistler is fun as well.
There is also a really really great chocolate place that I went too, right beside the Yaletown pub in Yaletown called Chocoatl. If you've ever seen the movie Chocolat and was ever curious why the whole town went nuts on that chilli hot chocolate... you HAVE to go here.
