At the detailing meet I noticed one of the anchors in the plastic lens in the lights of the spoiler was broken. Couldn't get to the screw because of a cap covering it. Used some tape to hold it to the hood for the trip home. Well, after work tonight when I got home....... the whole assembly was hanging by the wire. The second anchor broke. I used some electrical tape to hold it on. Kevin, should I use Painters tape to hold it on until I get it to the stealership? I'm worried about the tape and the paint. Should I be?
Not a happy camper 2 nite.
In the morning I think I can remove the screws that that the lens is not in the way, maybe use some crazy glue and put it together.
Any othe thoughts welcome.
BTW Wayne, I did try to hold it together with the white sox, but it didn't work well.

 

Sam - use painters tape, that won't hurt the paint. Just use a bunch and really tape it on there, then remove carefully when you're ready to fix it.

Whacky that they both ended up breaking. :/
