I test drove both cars, two different beast all together.
911 more of a true sports car, the handeling is just amazing and it is so nice to have a proper clutch and gear box compare to the G35. Those ceramic brakes are just amazing but to replace those are expensive.
M5 so hard not to like a high torque sedan like that, design wise I think I like the older model then this one and this car has soo many gadgets which I love. Down side it got that stupid I drive which drives me nuts. All those settings in order to get the true 500hp is just plain stupid. Is also weird when I turn into a corner fast and the seat reacts to it, I first thought the sales person was getting a little too friendly with me
. Also I hate the stupid semi auto wish they have the damn manual for this car and from the sales person mouth he said there will be one. But we know never to trust the sales person.

My mom and dad told me that they bought the house for $33K in 1967, now its over $540K. Its amazing how things change in value.

Hmmm, I read that there will be no manual for the M5. Reason is that the gear sequence would result in a very very odd shift pattern.
To reduce shift throws and place high torque load gears near the transmission support bearings, the shift pattern of this Getrag box would be 2,4,6,7,5,3,R and 1st if looked at from a conventional manual shift pattern.
The vette is nice, draw bak is the interior sucks for that kind of money I want a better interior. I also consider the lotus exige but I don't fit in there too comfortably.

I think you'll appreciate the M button if you buy the car, getting single digit mpg all the time would be a bummer.
