Hell freezes over

Nova Scotia enters the 21st century and joins the rest of Canada with Sunday shopping.

Today our provincial court ruled the Province was overstepping their authority keeping big grocery stores closed. We'll soon see how many retailers take advantage of this.

Now maybe Canada will enter the 21st century and leave post offices/postal service open/running on Saturdays.

Nah, the government only put gas regulation into effect a few months ago.

Don't hold your breath on that one. Aren't the retail outlets in various stores/pharmacies open on Saturday?

I've seen three different Solstice's without the front plates this week. Seems someone is making a point.

You got that right....
I didn't mind so much on my '04 with it built into the bumper design.
But on most cars now, they stick out like a wart on a witch's nose.

So I'm watching The National last night and I see the story on the Nova Scotia Sunday shopping story. The report goes on talking about the "other businesses that are open Sunday, even ones where you can lose your shirt like the Casino."
To my surprise there is a shot of our local Casino and the guy in the picture is my dad, who is a regular every Friday playing Texas hold 'em poker. Too funny.
