I'm keeping the car and this will probably be the last chance I get anything done under warranty. I'm doing the last scheduled prefered mantenence and a few other small items ( all covered hopefully). Should I get the brake service? They charge about $200. Had the brakes done about 15000K ago. Rear and tranny fluids at 65000K. Reg. Mobile oil changes..............
Anything else I should be on the lookout about?

What is the $200 brake service?
If there's only 15K on them, it sounds like a cash grab to me.

 

Yeah, a brake flush was about $75 for me.

 

They take the brakes apart and lub them, make sure everything is moving correctly .

A break flush might be a good idea, but I'd probably do it at garage. I'll ask what they'd charge.

 

Do you have the 6mt? If so I would want to have it done at the dealer particularly with the extra bleeders.

Wayne, if I had your money I'd have my own ATM too. Been busy with stuff at work and around the house. Too much to do ..... too little time to do it in, you know the feeling.
