Automobile Protection Association (APA)

Hi,

I am just wonder if any one has experience with APA? APA provides 1 year of membership at $65+GST, for 5 dealer invoices and you can use there pre-negotiate price with local dealer. Is any one went through APA to purchase their G? I am in the market of getting the '07 G. I am not a good negoitator and I would like to go through APA's service if I can get a resonable discount. Any throught?

Thanks.

You should be able to get a pretty good deal with them.
I know on the E92 335i they were getting 4% off MSRP in the GTA.
That was as good or better than most people were negotiating on thier own.
(most were getting about 3%)

You may get better, but not w/o serious negotiation.

Also, b4 you join make sure they have established a buy for the *new* G.

i used them to purchase my g35. my contact was don vilasa at woodchester. very nice guy... and no bs from him. i also took the pricing they gave me to 2 other dealers... to see if they would match or beat... none of them wanted to even touch the price... so i think the pre-arranged pricing u get is a great deal. i also got apa discount pricing from woodchester for things like aftermarket tint, clear-bra... etc.

1 note though.. when they give u dealer invoicing they only put down the pricing for options u mention. so when ask for the invoice... tell them your specing a car with all the options... and make sure u list them. that way when u get the pdf from them... all the options are listed line-by-line with the msrp price and subsequent dealer cost.

good luck on your car purchase.

edit.... good lord intgr8r.. just noticed your post count... u ***** u haha

Thanks for all the valuable info. I am really looking forward to get the new G.

My only problem is that I can't decided between if I should get a base + Tourning Package or M6 (which has all the options for the base + TP). The difference isn't that much between the two, but I am trying not get too far away from 50K after PDI and taxes.

don't forget to incorporate the cost of some good winter tires as well... if you u plan to drive it through the winter. people often miss this simple and relevant added cost.
