Holy $hi*...what next...

Sorry to hear of all the bad luck Sam. I would be demanding all OEM parts for sure and a free paint job as well. How the heck can you get your foot "stuck"?
Sounds a little "fishy" to me. I think someone was having some fun in you car.

Was this body shop through Infiniti?

Good luck with the repairs

Holly schiznit.... unbelievable Sam
...& they didn't have the courtesy to even call you?

FWIW...
Don't let them weld in replacement sheet metal,
demand full OEM body panel replacements.

Since this is no doubt going through their insurance, you could also request your own body shop.

Also, depending on how bad it is... diminished value should be negotiated.

keep us posted bro.... I feel your pain.

The Ugly
Can't upload pics, too large.
The upshot.
New bumper under the first ins. claim as it was broken underneath, something about cross hatching?
Now the $hit,
Trunk lid and spoiler
Rear bumper and the piece that goes behind it as well as the beam??
new fr.rt fender
All OEM.
Clear Bra at their cost.
Paint entire car( including all areas not affected for uniform look) and clearcoat my cost $500
Maxima rental, their cost.
Can someone tell me how to resize the photo's, I have a Mac.
Thanks for the comments guys.

what else you hiding in dat closet bro

... if you use a photo host like photobucket (free)...
you can resize as you upload pix.

Then you just paste the [img] tag links in you post here.
simple copy & paste from photobucket.

.... sounds like you have a pretty good plan Sam.
She'll be sparkling new when you get her home.
- make sure you get a complete 3M job including bumper wrap.

I thought it was a good plan too Ian.
Just spoke to my buddy who foung the G for me. He said "NFW should I have to pay anything. Do not let them paint the car unless it is up to Concourse standard. All chrome off, all windows out, total car sanded, primed, painted, clearcoated, no cost. The car should not look like it was in an accident and it will if they do not do the above. Or, Tell them you want a different car Not New but as close to what yours was before they had the accident. And call your insurer and get them involved."
David is a Lawer, could you tell? So, ??

Excellent advice...
You only get one chance to tie the bell to the cat's tail.
Take your best shot.

I agree with your friend David. It should not cost you one single penny after all that was done.

There must be smoke comming out of your ears!!!!

Check to see if the shop is a member of the BBB( Better Buisness Bureau).

^+1. Wow, Sam, that's a really tough break with the cars.

OEM parts are what a normal insurance claim would pay for.

Damn, Sam....sorry to hear of your trials and bribs of late.....been battling the flu and looking after family issues and lost some touch....

Your lawyer friend's advice to insist on such a high level of repair using OEM parts, as well as a dimished value consideration are all factors you should insist on.
Your own insurance should be helpful in attaining those ends.....

You know my # if you need to talk. Don't hesitate, please.....

Keep smiling, Sam.....

C.

Went back to the owner. Told him my wife was unhappy at paying anything. So, new offer.
Paint, clearcoat and repair car totally and make it look beautiful. No Charge.
4 wheel allignment
safety
clear bra at his cost
Guaranteed it will be up to my wife's standard. Hey Kevin, wanna get hitched. Short term though.
He said that if that was not good enough, he'll go through ins. and they will only do the damaged parts and not the whole car. ( was not a threat, just his years of experiance, I like the owner, always treated me well on my other cars)
Maybe I'm a fool, but I agreed.
