Today on my way to work on the 401, I saw two trucks with the new G35 sedans on them. It seems they are on their way to dealerships now. Just a matter of time before they are all over the roads.

And who has seen the new Altima? the headlights are like the G...im hating this.

Yes the Alti is lookin 'too' good isn't it?.....Makes our rides a little less unique.

The Altima looks great. If I didn't have the G, I'd go for it. Cheaper too.

 

I like the side mirror blinker and the digital temperature dials. I don't know why nissan doesn't have these for the new G .

 

Yeah, Nissan is a little behind on that...... those mirror blinkers are on more and more rides these days and are great.
Eventually they'll be on our G's and M's.....

The new Maxi can come equipped with a heated steering wheel and heated back seats. To my knowledge, no Infiniti has those options (I could be wrong though).

Btw, great news on the 07 Sedans finally showing up at dealers.

 

LOL, heated steering wheel.....one of my favourite all-time options, ever....

had it on my '02 Max. and still miss it.
Heated seats are my next favourite option. You can tell I'm getting old.

Too bad the Max (and many other Nissans) has gone to CVT......Absolutey no sport appeal at all for me.

I was at Oakville for my regular oil change and went to the Infiniti side to see an 07 G up close and personal for myself.

Nothing to be found, they only have an 06 Sedan in the showroom. Since I had to wait for my car, I took a walk out back and found 1/2 dozen 07s, with transport tape all over them, not one on display.

I guess dealerships are still trying to unload 06 sedans before really gearing up the 07 .... shame.

Saw the 07 Altima, looks like a Maxima from most every angle but the rear, I love the new tail lights. The turn signal mirrors +1 too but why didn't Nissan put them on the 07 Max or G.

 

I find it interesting that Nissan puts certain features on less expensive vehicles rather than their premium vehicles. Not sure why they do that, but it's odd to say the least.

Turn signals on the mirror of the Altima but not the Maxi.
Heated Steering wheel on the Maxi but not on the G or M.
Heated rear seats on the Maxi but not on the G or M.
Power rear window shade on the Maxi but not on the G.

Those are just a few examples that I can think of. It really doesn't bother me, but I am just curious why they do that.

 

Btw, I first noticed that Nissan did this when I had my 03 Altima. I loved that it had the computer that tells you Avg fuel economy, DTE, etc. Then I got the G and it didn't have any of that. I just expected the G to have it as well and I was quite surprised when I found out that it didn't.

 

Judging by reports and sightings, they probably just unloaded some '07's from the truck.
Good news. We should finally see some on the road.

My dealer apparently got 3 truck loads of 07s this week. I checked their Dealer inventory on line and they have 19 07 Sedans on their inventory . They still have more waiting to be transported from Toronto.

Yes sireee , the dealer should have it this week and they will have the guys come in and do the full frontal 3M treatment and install 35% tint, Scotchguard the carpets and leather treatment. They might not have my splashguards in time but I said I can always get them later.
I checked with my local tire guy and my Blizzaks are also in.
