Smile And my new ride is home...

It's not another G, not a bimmer and it's not a Zed. It's a BIG "O".

Today, just picked up a 2007 Honda Odyssey Touring - Silver. Still keeping the G of course but finally got my wife to trade in her aging but dependable Mazda MPV.

Will I be posting pics, soon. Not a WOW factor as a M Z4 or 335i but hey, the kids love it...all 3 of them. For a minivan, the Touring is awesome and BIG. It won't fit in my garage.

Looking forward to the drive down to Florida.

Actually, every man's worst nightmare is driving 24 hours (not in one shot) with 3 very young children in the back. The Ody will make the trip a lot more easier.

Send it over to JWT to do some engine build-up. It'll make an interesting 800 hp daily driver.

and P.S.

Please let me know what you think.
We looked at the 2007 Quest but we didn't like it as much as the Honda.

Joined the OdyClub Forum awhile ago...I'm there as lg777 as well.

Quest: Less HP, No split 3rd row seats, uncomfortable seats, reliability.

Honda: Well thought out which shows they have more experience in the minivan than Quest. Smooth ride especially with a new Tranny in 2007. Sienna is better in terms of luxury but you do pay more for similar equipped Sienna. The 2007 Sienna will have 268HP and may be worth waiting for but the handling and ride of the Sienna is very mushy. Siennaclub.org/forums is a good resource.

I had a MPV before and let me tell you, the best thing with kids is a minivan no matter how much your wife will not like it, she will learn to love it. Easy access in, good on your back, room for strollers and wagons, blah, blah, blah.

Exactly,
My argument has always been, "Name me 1 production vehicle that carries 7 people and get 27MPG"

I'll going to sign up after we purchase. What do you think about the PAX tires?
