Hello all

I don't frequent the Canada foru but I need your input.

Anyone in here ever dealt or even heard of ALERTPAY. This guys are based in Canada they are like Paypal, but I never heard of this people. Anyone here ever dealt with or have done business with this people? I have a deal going but these company won't release the money until I actually ship out the package with a tracable tracking #. I'm a bit sceptical about this because once I ship out the merchandise what guaranty do I have that they will release the money? You see my delema here I have done my search on it they look legit but my gut tells me to ask anyways. So any input will surely be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Glenn, I replied to your PM. While I have never heard nor dealt with AltertPay, it appears that they are legit. I PM'ed you a URL that you might find useful. Good luck with your transaction.

There is a company that is called ALERTPAY that is base in Canada. Unfortunately, they have been a victim of fraud not only here in the US but also in Europe. It's so hard to tell which company is legit and which one is not. I chose not to do business with either one just to play it safe.

If my buyer wants the item I'm selling I told him I want money in hand before shipping. I even suggested that since he is local I can actually hand deliver the package. Then he tells me that he is out of town like NY. At this point I told him to screw himself cause I won't deal with his sorry a$$ anymore.

Good move Glenn.......That does sound fishy doesn't it......

My policy for myself is that if I don't know the person, and can't meet him, I don't do business with him. \

You did the right thing.......
