Bittersweet, new car is here!
I see you have I-Drive. The press have really slammed it but I absolutely love it. It may not be for those that are technologically challenged but I have mastered it and can't imagine life without it now. My razor integrates flawlessly and it is great to have my entire phone book at my fingertips.
Good luck with the new wheels and the color looks spectacular. Nice choice.

Ya, i-Drive. I am not sure why people (mostly mags) flip out about it. I'm a techno-gadget kinda guy, so I guess I have an advantage compared to someone like say, my dad, but really it's pretty simple as far as I am concerned. The major options (audio, nav, settings, etc..) are all right off the main menu, navigation is easy and when you dive into it it makes the car *so* customizable... ya, I don't know why folks don't like it.
Oh, this reminds me. I can finally post pics of my European vacation now that I have the car. For those of you confused by what this means...sorry, I can't say much more. But here you go, 3 months late!

Thank my wife for the Europe ones, she's the real photographer.
Oh, I was meant to mention to you guys considering optimum no rinse, the amount of water in the pics on the ground there (with the new car) is about the amount of puddle you'll get when using it, not too bad.

Kevin, that was a fantastic "journal" of memories and photos your wife recorded. WOW. Kudos to her for such a good job. It was a treat for me this morning viewing, drinking coffee and reminiscing with your chronicle! You guys did a wonderful job of exploring and reaching so many treasures. It must have been extra special for you driving a brand new car on those European roads.
Your trip brought back memories of our trip 3 years ago when we covered a similiar route and visited some of the same landmarks. Interesting that Austria and Germany also topped the list for both my wife and I.
Enjoy your standout road rocket. Hope to see it in person sometime.

Absolutely great pics Kevin thanks for sharing them.
It also reminded me of our trip to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. When we visited our daughter while she was residing in Wurtzburg, Germany.
