Quantum Tek S-18 rims: lug nut problems

Quantum Tek S-18 rims: lug nut problems

I bought a 2003 G35 coupe with the 6spd manual about a month ago and had the dealer throw in a set of snow's with aluminum rims. The rims are Quantum Tek S-18 17"x7.5".

Well I tried to install them today. The lug nuts don't have enough space between them and the machined-out rims to fit. I tried the trunk lug wrench and several 22mm sockets...none of them have a thin enough wall to fit between the rim and the nuts. Even the Mcguard locking nut key does not fit. Any suggestions?

If not, I will have to check with the dealer tomorrow and have them sort this out.

Hopefully, a thin-walled socket will do the trick.
