Well it's about -1 here now and probably isn't going to get much higher
A few flurries about 2 hours ago.....glad I washed the car yesterday as I'm now busy polishing away at the thing in the garage
The weather is all over the place! I was actually thinking that I'd got used to the winter here, until I realised that there's another 4=months of it still to come

Last night we watched The Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore. Great film about Global Warming and shows you how delicate the environment is. We are going to see lots of changes in the next few decades and not hundreds of years as we all probably thought.

I watched that flick last week and found it extremely interesting. I personally have seen a HUGE difference in our winter weather compared to when I was a kid (and I'm only 34). I remember how much snow we used to get.

Btw, is anyone else's lawn actually greening up?

I was talking with my friend about that last night Shane. I'm 27 he is 30, and we were talking about how as few as 10 years ago we would have a light snow by Halloween almost every year, and accumulation by January; a day about 5C was totally uncommon.... :/

I've got lots of those kind of stories since I've got 20 years on you and grew up in Winterpeg. I won't bore you with them.

We broke a previous record from '93 at 8 degrees with today now at 12. Crazy.

I'll have to check out that movie you guys referred to.
