Mini Meet at Horton's Jan 07

Small meet with Sam today so I could cry on his shoulder about my sore foot and I could see the great job done on his Coupe.
I'm impressed and I think Kevin will be too.-- Very nice job Sam.....you've got a brand new Black Beauty there.....
Always nice to see you bro.....and thanks for lending me your ear(s)....

I haven't got the foot massager yet, but ASAP I will...

.........and you did stretch just enough to be taller... If I'd know I'd have worn my 2' heels.... Jeez you're really tall.......

Great fun today, tnx bro.....

Looks like fun... with a purpose too.

Sam, hope you're happy with the job. Looks nice from the pics but we need some real close ups.

I hear you, Godmans.....Something I wanted to avoid today was the long distance travel, since I'm hobbling around with a sore foot, and Sam didn't have a lot of time since he had plans for the rest of the day.

.........So we settled for a another 2-man, 2-car meet and chat...
Which is something we do occasionally just for fun and to 'catch up'.....and of course anyone is welcome to come....altho this time was short notice with no forewarning.......
In this weather, it's hard to plan much in advance isn't it.......

Spring isn't far off when we'll all get together again......

Ciao

Car looks good from what we can see Sam. It also got Kevin's Quality check so it must be good .

Colin what happened to your foot? Hope the problem gets better soon . And Colin your Acura looks nice also .

Heck we even had a Mini-meet today also, K and I met up with inTgr8r and his better half for a good chit-chat and lunch. Oh and Ian's white truck was much cleaner than my black truck .

Yeah, it was good getting together again

& I don't think Mobey Dick was any cleaner, just better at camouflage.
I do have better custom body work though

Sam, I guess the jury is in and it sounds good.

Congrats on finally getting the car back and with a fine new paint job.

Glad to see you've got your Coupe back Sam. It looks great and I am sure you are happy to ahve it back. Looks like you've got a little snow on it in that last picture......although I am glad to see you have none on the ground there.

Colin, you've still got the CSX??? I figured you would have something new by now!!

Foot's still bothering you Colin?

Yep, I saw Sam's car and as far as I can tell the paint job is well done. I'd be happy with it. I am interested to see how hard it is once the clear is fully cured, but all indications are that it is good. The rest of the car looks good too, incidentally. Oh, and Sam doesn't look half bad either.

LOL, yeah, Sam's well cured like me, tho not quite as much......

The foot, arrrrr, don't know what's up with it......Hurts like the dickens so I'll have to get it looked at- it's been almost a week now and I'm getting thoroughly p'd with it. (so are Dayne and Sid- who aren't getting their 6 km walks every day. )

Got home from TO about 2:30 last night. Roads were dry and mostly clear. Nancy was sleeping . Do I ever respect ( love seems so over used ) this set of wheels. Played a little with those on the road.
Got home and visited the site. You guys are awesome. Thanks for being there. Made the process less stressful.

[QUOTE=Msedanman] and you did stretch just enough to be taller... If I'd know I'd have worn my 2' heels.... Jeez you're really tall.......

I was feeling 10' tall after my ride to Tims and coffee with you. Just wanted to see what the world looked like from your prespective. Always enjoyable to visit with you Colin, I liked your evaluation, wanted validation of my opinion. Your foot may hurt but your eyes are sharp
Foot massager get it.

Thanks Deane,I am happy and got happier after Kevin saw it. I"ll post some tomorrow.

That's great Wayne. So good to let the G stretch,eh? If I count my Mini-meet with Kevin, that makes 3. Maybe we could try for the Guinness record for most car meets in one day. At the same time?

Thanks Kevin, when you said that I was able to truly smile ear to ear. BTW, it was a good thing I had my snows on. That ramp from your garage is like going to the CNE. 3 more degress and Nancy is sure it would be perpendicular. How you gonna manage it if you put on a lip?
Thanks all.

Thanks Shane, I am very happy. I knew I was missing the G driving experiance but didn't realize how much until I drove to TO and back last night.

If you go with the blonde one, get the standard issue with all the body parts. You'll need more than the legs for what you want .
