Bimmer Guys

I know there are a number of enthusiasts and owners here in Canada. I want to install exhaust on my M5 but not sure if I should go Dinan or Eisenmann. Both are warrantee approved. I am looking to perk up the sound. Dinan have 3 1/2" tips which may add to the look but sound is the deciding factor. Opinions?

I have also just ordered wiremesh kidneys and lower grille similar to the pic but the kidneys have an alpine white frame. I have seen a few M3's done this way and I quite like the look. These are real high quality electro-polished stainless using factory frames. The pattern is very much the same as what is installed on the XLR-V.

Which Eisenmann are you looking at; I've heard their Meisterschaft and it is absolutely UN-BELIEVABLE. I am looking for the sound clip now, it's super intense.

Ahh, here it is.

Idle:

The first time I heard that I was speechless, sounds like an F1 car.

Here is their Kries-sieg too: http://www.kreissieg-usa.com/video.p...20Off%20Action

Ya, if they can make something even 1/2 that good for the 335i I will be all over it. The idle excites my loins.

I'd go to Bimmerfest, Bimmerforums, or Roadfly and ask around there.

Thanks for the two loiners Kevin. Loved the take off and flyby. Like my idle more, mostly because it's mine.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I'm not liking the Meisterschaft at all. It's a bit too tuner ricer for me.

I like the Kreissieq much better. Sounds like an airplane.

Call me a fanboi but I like the sound of the G Coupe better.

Exhaust... did someone ask about exhaust?????

Hey guys just got in from a little fun in the sun (holy crap it's cold here)

Anyway... here's a great site with tons of clips Klangford

From what I've found you really have to watch which *version* you go with from each manufacturer.
Some race versions are very loud

I'm going with Supersprint sport myself.

Dinan is a bit more money but their "sport" (not race) exhaust is suppose to be a bit more subdued when just regular driving. I do not want my car to sound like a tuner car all the time. When I stomp on it though, I want people to get out of my #*@) way and when I pass wonder what the hell just went by

Dinan released the exhaust for the new E60 M5 this week. Hmm. Such tough choices. I am going to have to swallow hard though when I fork over almost 4K Can. for an exhaust system.
