04' G35 Coupe Brake Rotors & Pads (non Brembo)

Aight Guys...I know this may have been answered before but I could not get a definitive answer on any of the threads on the forum. Here are my two questions: What are the best aftermarket Rotors & Pads for a 04 coupe (non Brembo) and where do I get them in the T.? I'm thinking of ceramic???

I'd appreciate all the suggestions and would love to meet some of my fellow G35 aficionado's.

fine....lol....i like project Mu B-force, they feel pretty good and supposed to have less brake dust than OEM, however i only installed em a week ago...heard hawk HPS supposed to be decent too, but may have issue with thickness of pad during install, can't speak from personal experience on that one...ordered form www.mynismo.com

this all depends on what your using the car for, i.e. racing on track, drag, circuit, daily driving etc. will make a difference with your rotors too, if your just daily driving, theres really no need to upgrade your rotors except for cosmetic reasons.

happy now?

Its going to depend upon the conditions that you drive in... are you going to track the car( alot...alittle?). Ceramics are good for the track but for all around everyday "spirited" driving", stick with pads like Hawk HPS's.

Many members have the Hawks on there cars and are very happy with them( my self included).

Are you looking for a big brake kit or sticking to stock size rotors?

Oh yeah...welcome aboard to G35driver!!!!

Bill

Quick question, do you know about the extended brake warranty on all 03/04 G35 Coupe's with Non Brembo. If your car is under 4 years old and less than 60,000 kms then you are covered for the dealer to replace your rotors and pads (Absolutely free). In fact I have had mine done twice already. First time they changes all pads and rotors and just recently the dealer just changed the pads in the front and machined the rotors.

As for your question on aftermarket pads and rotors the package that EverythingG35.com sells is not bad

http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=399

Hope that helps!

My understanding is this warranty extension was for 36 months.

I asked that same question to the service manager at Woodchester and he told me 4 years but from what I have read it is 3 years and 60,000. But if Woodchester is gonna let me have an extra year I won't argue with them since I won't get near the 60,000 kms mark till midway into year 4 I figure.

Hey it's all good. I'll bet no one will argue or alert them to any difference.
