Hi Folks,

My G is in for some service right now, and I just got a call from them saying that the back rotors and pads will need to be replaced soon.

He was quoting me about $800 + tax for rotors and pads installed (Rear only)

Does that sound right?

I was thinking about taking it to an independant garage and having them look at them....does anyone have any recommendations for more reasonably priced pads and rotors for my car?

That's a rip off, price out the pads & rotors yourself, labour should not be more than I would say $100

That's totally what I thought.

I priced it out at a garage where I have all the work on my other vehicles done, and they said $106 for the pads and $150 each for the rotors.

Much better for sure.

Is there any real advantage to having it done at the dealership?
