Just curious, what tires came with your G35X sedan?

( I read this comment on another site which prompted the question., but not sure if this applied to Canadian deliveries)..

The one thing that still irks me is that Infiniti still puts on those dreadful Goodyear RSA tires. Yes, on the sport models you get the Bridgestone RE050A which are great tires, however if you get the base or G35x you are stuck with Goodyear RSA's, which are not to be on a car of this caliber. Any handling problems that I had with this car can be blamed on Infiniti’s terrible persistence in tire excellence!

I can confirm that the 07X comes with RSAs, they aren't the best tires ever but it wouldn't make any more sense to ship an AWD car with performance summer tires. I'm going to use the RSAs until they wear out then start looking for some aftermarket 19" rims with performance summers and use my stock 17" wheels for my winters.

Thanks.

Just curious, given the RSAs "aren't the best tires ever ", what are some suggested alternatives all seasons for this car, for those of us (like me) who are not inclined to keep two sets of tires.

I haven't done much research on AS tires, but I would recommend reading reviews on sites like tirerack.com, 1010tires.com and tiretrends.com and make a decision based on the climate where you live and the type of driving you want them for. I guess the trade off is tread life vs traction vs amount of maintence required.
