My back lawn is nice and green now, the lawnmower was actually bogging down the grass was so long. Today is the warmest it's been in my town, it's up to 22C today.

Ahh, green grass again. We won't have it for another few weeks I would say. We had 24 degrees here yesterday but today only about 15. Tomorrow is forecast for 23 so you're sending that warm stufff our way. I can't wait.

Holy crap Wayne, that is awesome. I fertilized the lawn today but I am no where near needing to cut it though. I did notice that my tulips and various other bulbs are starting to spring though.

Your weather sounds pretty much the same as here Deane. We had a beautiful day yesterday.......so much so that I got a pretty bad sunburn on my back and arms while I was detailing my G yesterday. Today was nice as well but not quite as warm and a little more breezy. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and 22C.

It seems no one around my place can keep tulips this year. All the tulips have been ripped out and believe it or not all the tracks through the beds are deer tracks. They seemed to have developed a sweet tooth for tulips I talked to two neighbors today who had that problem. There are quite a few deer around along with the wild turkeys in our area. My younger daughter who lives about 10 minutes away has woke up in the morning at her place to find at least 20-30 wild turkeys in her yard .

Wild turkeys.

Yeah I know all about deer and tulips. We couldn't keep them at our last place. The deer even became very brazen about standing their ground when I shooed them away one early morning.

This is only my second year with tulips, but last year deer ate the ends off of every single one of them......the little buggers. I am not expecting it to be any different this year. Oh well, they are a beautiful animal at least.

I can only imagine your last house being visited by lots of deer Deane. It was in a beautiful wooded area.

Didn't get nearly as much as predicted, at least not in Calgary. They were saying up to 15cm, I'm thinking we got less than 5cm but the temp's been cool so it's taking a while to melt from all areas...I still have some in my yard in the shade of my trailer. 14-18C all this week, so it's all good.
