SKperformance, I appreciate you offering this special to all members, but why did we have a schedule time when no schedule was set. I arrived at the place at 12:30ish for my appointment at 1 and was told that it's first come first serve. I was told that maybe around 3, they can take me in. If I knew it was first come first serve, I would have arrived in the morning. To say the least, I couldn't come back. I had a very busy weekend and was not able to return. Is Dent Clinic going to honour the pricing at a later time?

Bill did you get all your dents out?

Got them all out...couldn't even see a single mark. A great job!!!

Tauseef,

Did you keep your paper they gave you? They should honor it...give them a call and tell them your situation.

Good to hear Bill!

Yes, I still have the paper at home. I even left them a message on Saturday when I couldn't return, but they never called me back. Maybe I'll try them again and find out.

They are not going to honour it as it is a one day thing.
If you had a problem why did you not express it to me when you were there rather than now.
It is like a doctors appointment you have an appointment but some (people/cars) take longer than others and you have to wait your turn.
There was a big guy taking names before i got there because he had no clue what was going on. I set up appointments and everyone else who did not make one was fit in between the others.

There will be other dent clinics set up possible for the next west end meet.

Tauseef's price should probably be honored, given the situation. I am sure T will be happy to honor it; he's a good guy.

Peter; obviously I wasn't there. I'm booked 7 days a week through July right now, so not a ton of time for meets, though I am trying to get out. Actually, I found T because I got a dent in the 335i (lady hit me in a parking lot)...but that's another story.

That's not what I was told. The guy that looked at my car and gave me my slip, chuckled and said no appointments today. It's first come first serve. He told me to come back at 3:00 or he'll call me if they are done earlier. I called at 2:30, no answer. I tried again, left a message saying, I cannot make it back.

Honestly, I didn't know who you were. I guess I should have asked Bill.

It wasn't well organized..the sales rep didn't know anything about it until he got to work.
It should have been stated from the outright that it was a first come, first serve basis.

I was lucky that I arrived early I guess.

It never was a first come first served basis.
The problem came about with the new sales guy who started last week was completely clueless and screwed the timing up. I had a list and was going by it and scheduling others as they came with no appointment. I had numbers for anyone who could not stay and let them know 30 minutes before their turn to return.
This was organized last month with T and the sales guy made a list of order .
It was organized as a meet to hang out and get some dents out . Sorry if you feel it was just a get some cheap work and leave type of thing. Like i said you should have brought this up to me there ,not leave and post it here if it was such an issue to you .

I'm not trying to attack you on this. I did want to hang around and meet with other guys, but because I was first told I had a 3 hour wait, I decided to go home (I stuck around for 45 mins or so). Before I left, the guy told me, to come back by 3 or he'll call me earlier if they are ahead of schedule. I didn't get any call back from anyone.

I never met you, so how would I have approached you? Like I said before, I should have asked.

man, i hope SKPerformance doesn't treat all their customers like this! It sounds like you guys dropped the ball with the planning, and you're blaming the people showing up for not expressing it earlier?

PDT wasn't happy that he got the short end of the stick due to the situation, and just wanted to see what's what. If I was in his situation, I would ask about honouring the discount as well just to confirm.

i'm not suggesting that you should or shouldn't honour the discount, but a simple apology for the mishap and say it was a one time deal would have been suffice.

SKPerformance is the organiser of the "meet". He is not a company...hats off to him for getting us a great deal.

I think there was some miscommunication between SK and the Dent Clinic as to how people were to be admitted. Perhaps if there is another "special" appointments will be the only way to go...

I remember that the sales rep told PDT that he would specifically call him
prior to his appointment.. I guess this never occured.
