Paint Shop Recommendations?
Hey guys, I've ordered a body kit from Japan, and should be arrive sometime within the next few weeks. I was wondering you guys can chime in and give some recommendations for paint shops.
I'm looking for a place that will do good quality work, but not ball-bustingly expensive. So a balance of sorts. I'd like the paint quality and workmanship to be at a good level.
I know Eric recently got his TS front bumper painted. Where did you get yours done Eric? Were you happy with the results?
I tried to search for "Paint" in this forum, but the only hits that came up where Kevin's detailing posts
Thanks guys!

Yo
Yeah I was extremely happy with mine, think the people who saw my car can say the fitment was perfect. Now the thing is that my dad knows him well, they went to school together so they took care of me really well and charged me only 400 bucks for everything.
So if you want to go with him let me know he is located close to FX Tint.

What's the place called? I know of two shops on heritage road, one is called Velocity and the other place's name escapes me right now, it's just abit further down east on Heritage iirc.
I remember taking my corolla to that place to fix a damaged rear bumper from hit and run.
While price is a factor, I wouldn't mind paying abit more to get quality work. I'm hesitant to take it to Velocity as I've heard from several people that their paint is too thin.
Thanks for your help Eric!

THe place is call Philapina or something like that is right next door to heavy equipment rental. But just note the quote that he gives you even when you mention my name will not be the same price he gave me. He even said that he is not making any money from me really. So don't be surprise if he quotes you a little more then mine. But do mention my name and the car he did for and tell him that you will pay cash. That should help. I will get the phone number when I get home tonight.
Thanks for the heads up Eric, don't worry about the pricing stuff. I wasn't going to expect that kind of deal anyways haha. Plus I'm getting the whole kit (with skirts and rear bumper), so I would expect the price to reflect that anyways.
