dont my windows tinted @ Audio Heaven.. dot matrix problem..

So I got my windows tinted at Audio Heaven today....before they started working on my car..... the owner Jeff told me that the upper part of my rear windows has some god d*mn little dots that may or may not leave some nasty airs between the films and the windows.. he will try to do the best job he can but there is no guarantee......

and unfortunately....there were some air in the dot matrix area and they said the air might evaporate after a few days..so i should wait for a week and if it still looks awful, then they will cut off the part with the air iand re-tint it.. .

so my question is.. would it look even worse if they use 2 pieces of film to tint my rear windows (leaving a line in the middle or something since there are two pieces) or i wont really be able to tell the difference??

is it better off just to leave the ugly air in between (hoping that one day it will evaporate) or having two pieces of fims on my rear windows??

any expert opinion is appreciated...

That doesn't sound good. I'm sure one of the Coupe guys will jump in here and tell you how their tint was done.

You'll be fine. I had my rear window done with two pieces and you can't even see the line. If they know what they're doing, you have nothing to worry about. Did they try to squeeze the air out?

Don't worry about it. My one piece had some bubbles that went away. You'll always see a little difference because of the dot matrix but nothing too bad.

^in some light and looking very close to the car you can see this type of appearance. I think its the nature of the beast with dot matrix.

FWIW, others have.......
Put it in the sun & worked it into the dots with a micro fiber.

Window tint...........

My coupe windows have been tinted for three years, I have no issues with
them ever. My tint is 3M, great quality and the installer does 20 cars a day.
