Generally its been a cold but dry spring here until the past number of days where we've had straight rain. I have a steep grade in my back yard and part of my lawn is under 3 inches of water from the non stop barrage of rain runoff. It's 10 degrees here now and raining. What a horrible day for the 1000's of marathoners out running todays Bluenose event.

We're expecting to get up to 17 and sunny by Wednesday so hopefully that's the start to a real spring on the way to summer.
Well, our nice weather is here, My favourote fishing partner, my wife Karen and I have only been out a couple of times now and the winds and rough water are kicking up now.
On our last trip (yesterday) we managed 2 trout and 4 salmon, one of our trout managed to put us in 3rd place in the trout category . Karen caught that one.
TOP 5 TROUT
Doug Eaton Inverkip 13.16
Ben Correia Kincardine 12.28
Karen Passmore Kincardine 12.24
Bill Wyatt Walkerton 11.72
Craig Wilton Mt. Brydges 11.17

I don't expect that to last but we will be out in our boat cruisin for the big one . Man, what a great life .

Congrats to Karen. I can see why she is your favorite fishing partner.

I agree. Life is great.

Our weather is coming too. Low 20's in a few days. Gotta love it.

That sucks!! How much snow did you get? We had frost warnings two mornings earlier this week. It is supposed to be sunny and 27 here on Saturday.

Damn....right now it's hot and sweaty here in southern Ontario....... ....

Yet another display of our weather being totally screwed up....

We used to get some snow here at this time of year but only very rarely and it hasn't happened for decades.....

I guess what the experts are saying about global warming is true...

Woohoo, it sure is nice to see some nice hot weather here. I tee'd off this morning at 7:08 and it was 16C already. My thermometer is currently sitting at 31.2C. It's about time the Maritimes is the hotspot in Canada!

Right on Shane. Man it's hot and sweaty here too. I just checked both our temps on environment canada and we're both showing 29 right now. Difference is our humidity is 39% and humidex is 33. It's come down a lot. All morning it was 100% and gradually declining but we didn't get any rain.

No doubt you're a few degrees warmer in Rothesay. We probably are here too since the weather stations are right by the coast. My digital thermometer was showing 37.5 in the shade and now 35.5 but I don't know if I can trust that.

We just returned from the Awards Ceremonies and we managed to win 3rd place in the Fishing Derby we have been in for the last 10 days.

Yes sir thats right Karen's fish placed 3rd in the largest Trout. We won a bunch of gift certificates and a 4-stroke Generator. All of this for having fun on the lake. She is an excited girl right now .
