Lightbulb time for a new car

so i just got my car back this morning after it being in the shop for over 2 stinkin weeks. damn thing wouldn't start one morning... and of course infiniti kept misdiagnosing the problem the entire time since then. ended up being a problem with the fuel management system.

during this time... i've been thinking of upgrading this year to something new. i even visited audi and bmw over last weekend just to get an idea on delivery times. looks like the s5 or m3 would be delivered sometime as winter approaches (november+) if i put a deposit down soon (1st come 1st serve.. u know the spiel). but without looking at any of the vehicles hands on... i'm torn at what to get.

in general... i'm looking for great interior/fun power/winter mobility (this will be my only car - just like the G). lately i've been leaning towards the s5 just due to the incredible interior and awd. in case your wondering why i've got the 335 cabriolet in there... i've always loved open air cars, and thought it would be fun to get another one again. however, i don't know how much use i'd get out of it considering i drive my motorcyle anytime i can get... so i've swayed away from it lately.

as u can see... so many choices this year = so many headaches. not really sure what i should do

-rj

I haven't checked the pricing on all these but it seems you've got a bit of a range happening. That makes the decision on the M3 easier for me.

Out of those, M3. If you could get the RS5 I would do that!

The S5 is looking really nice though, I have a problem with the new m3 and the new hood. S5 looks so much sleeker

yeah... from the pics... the interior of the s5 trumps the bmw as well. the m3 just looks bland... and then u got the i-drive

IMO who cares what these people think? are they gonna help you pay the note? no. so of the cars listed and not listed, do your homework, save your money, and if you really want a new car then get whatever car fits you and whatever situation you're in. in the end, you'll still be welcome to the forums and most people will still applaud your purchase and say "congrats on your new car". as long as you're happy with what you drive us all that really matters

well of course the final decision comes down to me but with all the great cars coming out this year it's fun to discuss the choices.

i found an m3 coupe catalog and tried to attach it.. but the limit on pdf is so ridiculously low that it wouldn't work. try the link below.

http://giddyup69.files-upload.com/fi..._catalogue.pdf

is it just me ... or does the interior look drabby compared to everything else out there? hmmmmm.
