A Day Of Hiking & And A Picnic (Lots of Pics)

So Anissa, Ava, Vegas & I just returned from a fabulous day at the Fundy Trail in St. Martins. It's such a gorgeous area and is about 30 minutes from our house. We wanted to take advantage of another beautiful day so we ecided to make up a picnic and do a little hiking. Living along the coast all my life, I sometimes think I take our beautiful scenery for granted.

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Oh man, Kevin....those sights for us 'inlanders' look awesome. I'd love to do that trek there someday..........simply beautiful...

Ava looks healthy and happy ----- (and a lot like Daddy)......

Vegas looks eager and happy having ridden in thenew G.

and of course the G.......what can I say..... simply gorgeous.

Glad you had a terrific day with the family....That area that is so close to you is soooooooooo attractive......

Sounds like the tides at that point can be quite high, being close to Fundy.....wow that too (the tides) must be spectacular (and dangerous).
I noticed the warning sign.......

Tnx for sharing....great pics

Colin.

Holy smokes.. How did I miss these? I guess I should come into the Canada regional more often...eh? (you knew it was coming..)

Awesome, awesome shots. Composition is great, the scenery is beautiful (looks like western Washington in some respects) and you did a great job with the camera.

The pup has gotten SO BIG (but she still has PUP in her eyes! ) and the car looks sha-weet!

Back to trolling the pictures. I'm digging the wooden staircase and suspension bridge.

Nice pictures. They remind me of where I grew up in Pennsylvania.

This pic is great. The cliffs look really interesting...looks like there are small alcoves in the face of the cliffs? Ever go up close to them to have a peek?

Awesome pics Shane, it's a beautiful spot there. I was always amazed at the Tidal bore there, that is mind-boggling.

Yep, the Bay of Fundy actually has the highest tides in the world.

Yeah, I have been in those caves Brian. They are pretty when you are inside them, however they don't go in too deep.
