not a fender, that is a quarter panel. ~$750. looks like your bumper was scraped a bit also. add another $350 or so.

I would clean it and survey the actual damage not the left over concrete.
I would probably see if you can just get it blended on the edge and sanded for $100 and be done with it

damn.. where is 'my place' ... looks like the whole quarter panel will have to be repainted. i know a pretty good guy too... but it still cost me 300$ cash just to do the front bumper, i would have thought this would have been well above 500$.

i would never trust a "guy i know can do it cheap" place for paint and body work...it's not a 96 chevy cavalier. go to a reputable place and have it done right and pay what it is worth.

Yes, I agree. If the whole q panel needs paint the side window should be removed too. Otherwise there will be a ridge where the paint stops there since the window moulding can't be peeled back for painting.

Hey guys just an update, that pic is actually after scratch X, bad eh!!

Anyhow Godzilla's place is actually a good place, the $300 deal was a one off for a different type of car, they actually quote about the same as CarTech, I heard a lot of good things about Car Tech and my friend actually knows them.

I went with Car Tech , cause Godz's place couldn't take my car until next week.
Without me asking, they noticed the OEM 3M guard type on the side and are going to replace that as well.

So things look good so far, will see what happens.

Hey --

I just did the same damn thing

What did you end up doing and how much did it cost? I actually had the bevel that sticks out around the tire get pushed in right where the 3M guard is so I dont know if I need a new qtr panel or if they can pop it out. Such a dumb mistake. Thought I had the concrete post cleared.. damn tight underground lots!

Let me know how yours went -- I need suguestions!
