meh, if i had 75,000 bucks i'd just invest it in a car thats meant to go those speeds and has the looks to match rather than having what looks like another 30,000 car...not in any way to say the G is ugly

I think he bit more then he could chew. He should've known that it's expensive to mod your car and when it's time to sell it, those mods are almost worthless unless you part it out.

Maybe whoever wins the 6/49 tonight might be looking to waste a few dollars on that car .

That's $75,000 CAN...in Canada, that's not too expensive considering I think you guys pay like $50k for a Coupe to begin with, right?

Yes I think it's around 52K now. A low miles good used '05 would likely be worth around 35K

You've got to wonder though... to buy a coupe for 50k cad, then drop 50k cad into it. You're flirting with Z06 territory.

+1 on that. He's got more power than a Z06 but not the overall engineering or likley the performance the 'vette has.

Plus the performance of the Z06 has been consistently demonstrated, whereas it would probably be far fetched to get the same level of performance out of this car on a day to day basis.

Nice car though!!

Well, that and the Z06 has also shown itself to be fairly easily mod-able. I guess if it were me I'd drop the $110k on the Z06 then $15k on an ECU, intake, headers, and exhaust and call it a day. But that's only because I've watched Z06's walk F430's, Gallardo's, and even Ford GT's....

That would be a nice step up from the E92. Have you got that planned already for your next ride?

Haha, ya right. If I bought another car now Beth would literally kill me.

I just have to live vicariously through my clients.

Buying this car would have "RISK" written all over it. Likely no warrantee and if the thing tanks, where would you begin getting it fixed. I doubt I would buy this car even at market value. Nice ride but I do not see the sense in dumping this kind of money into a 3 year old car (05 came out in 04) just to turn around and try to flip it. Poor decision making all around I think.

Yeah, just teasing you. With the beautiful new car and mods you have now I didn't think it would be that fresh on your mind.

That's still a good deal with access to premium cars through your clients.

By the looks of it this car is the end result that most modders dream of. Take a pretty fast car on a solid platform and make it faster than most if not all the above mentioned super cars.

The problem is of course the cost to there. 50+50K = more than a Z06 and you'll never come close to making the money back when you sell it. Why not get the Z06? Well cause you know the Z06 modder won't be happy with the stock performance. Dump another couple hundred thousand or so in it to make it accelerate like a Veyron. Again, the cost is pretty high to get there and you have modded vs stock reliability issues. Why not just get a Veyron... In this province apparently everyone's got that kind of money to burn.

As to why he's selling it, I'm guessing it was bought by someone with taste and with oil money and now that the rigs aren't running the car loan is in danger of not being paid off. Just a guess.

Edit: I would love to see that car on the road someday.

Who knows what their financial situation is. But I'm interested to see if they are a member in this forum and if they are willing to sell their parts
