Talking OEM front lip for 05/06 G35 sedans.

After 6 months of waiting and two placed orders I finally received my pre-painted Obsidian black OEM front lip from Japan. To summarize a long and circuitous story I had initially placed the order for the front lip through Lombard Infiniti in Illinois with my sister who is a physician and a medical school professor in Lombard Illinois. The order was placed on the 5th of January 2007; I received a phone call the following week stating that the front lip is on a nationwide back order and may not be shipped until May. I knew this was the case when I originally placed the order and was prepared to wait. I received another phone call on the 1st of June stating that Lombard Infiniti would not be able to get the front lip from Nissan Japan so my order was canceled. I subsequently placed the order with Everythingg35.com on the 4th of June and received the front lip via UPS on the 11th of June.

For those wondering why I did not place the order for the OEM front lip through my Infiniti dealer, the answer is the part is not in the Canadian database. I had Agincourt and Oakville Infiniti search for it with the US part number without any success. The total cost was $444.54 CDN after conversion, the installation cost was $179.95 at Agincourt Infiniti.

looks really good. I also got mine from everythingg35.com and received it quickly. The installation cost is waaaay too high. That is just a hour labour which is around $50 to $60 depending on the shop.

Thanks for the complements. I know the installation cost is quite exorbitant but I wanted the front lip installed correctly and at a certain time to fit my schedule. I live out in Ajax and did not want to take the drive out to Simone Performance in Newmarket.I am now looking for the roof spoiler made by UTR.
